Honda Malaysia has announced the opening of order books for the upcoming Honda Civic facelift, which is due to launch in 2025.
The facelift will bring some updates to the exterior, including a new design for the alloy wheels. These changes will be applied to both the petrol and e:HEV variants, similar to what we’ve seen in Thailand.
In terms of powertrains, the Honda Civic offers two options. The first is a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing 182 hp and 240 Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox.
Alternatively, for those interested in hybrid power, the e:HEV variant is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine paired with two electric motors, producing a total output of 184 hp and 315 Nm and paired with an e-CVT gearbox.
Honda Malaysia hasn’t announced the official pricing for the Honda Civic facelift yet. But to give you an idea, the current Civic starts at RM131,900 for the base 1.5L E variant and goes up to RM167,900 for the Civic RS e:HEV 2.0L RS variant.
