Video: Lotus Emeya – The electric “Hyper GT” from RM555k

The 2025 Lotus Emeya has finally been launched in Malaysia and is offered in three variants – Emeya, Emeya S, and Emeya R. Prices for the Emeya start from RM555,000. Deliveries for the Lotus Emeya are expected to begin in November 2024.

The Lotus Emeya offers two powertrain options. The standard model delivers 603 hp and 710 Nm of torque through an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. At the top of the range, the Emeya R comes with 905 hp and 985 Nm of torque, aided by a two-speed transmission.

All three variants are powered by the same 102 kWh battery pack, which translates to a 610 km (WLTP) range on the base Emeya, 540 km on the Emeya S, and 435 km on the Emeya R. The Lotus Emeya is capable of 350 kW fast DC charging thanks to its 800V architecture, taking just 18 minutes to recharge from 10-80%, or 5.5 hours for a full charge using a 22 kW AC wall box.

Variants of the Lotus Emeya differentiate themselves based on wheel size, with the S and R variants featuring larger 21-inch wheels compared to the lower variant 20-inch wheels. All variants incorporate active aerodynamic elements to maintain a low drag coefficient of 0.21 Cd.
