The 2025 Lotus Emeya has finally been launched in Malaysia and is offered in three variants – Emeya, Emeya S, and Emeya R. Prices for the Emeya start from RM555,000. Deliveries for the Lotus Emeya are expected to begin in November 2024.

Performance-wise, the Lotus Emeya comes with 603 hp and 710 Nm from a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup for the two lower-end models, while the range-topping Emeya R gets 905 hp and 985 Nm courtesy of the powerful motors and a two-speed transmission.

The Emeya and Emeya S will do the century sprint 0-100 km/h time of 4.2 seconds while the Emeya R will do 2.8 seconds 0-100 km/h time. All the variants will reach the top speed of 250 km/h.
All three variants are powered by the same 102 kWh battery pack, which translates to a 610 km (WLTP) range on the base Emeya, 540 km on the Emeya S, and 435 km on the Emeya R. The Lotus Emeya is capable of 350 kW fast DC charging thanks to its 800V architecture, taking just 18 minutes to recharge from 10-80%, or 5.5 hours for a full charge using a 22 kW AC wall box.

Variants of the Lotus Emeya differentiates themselves based on wheel size, with the S and R variants featuring larger 21-inch wheels compared to the lower variant 20-inch wheels. All variants incorporate active aerodynamic elements to maintain a low drag coefficient of 0.21 Cd. The S and R models also boast larger standard brakes, with optional carbon-ceramic upgrades available. Air suspension is a standard feature across the range, with the R variant receiving a unique suspension tune for enhanced performance.
The Lotus Emeya’s interior features a driver-focused cockpit with a 15.1-inch central touchscreen controlling most vehicle functions. A large “55-inch” head-up display and an additional instrument cluster provide essential driving information. It also gets a Dolby Atmos-enabled 3D surround sound system. The in-car audio system is sourced from Lotus’ partner KEF (Uni-Q™ speaker design and Uni-Core™ space-saving subwoofer enclosure).

To recap, the Lotus Emeya has been launched in Malaysia with a starting price of RM555,000 on the road, without insurance. Fully packed with safety features, the Emeya also comes with a 5-year/150,000 km manufacturer’s warranty and an 8-year/200,000 km warranty for the battery.
