BMW Malaysia has just unveiled the facelifted BMW M4 Competition Coupé, retailing at RM918,600. The price includes a five-year extended warranty and service package as part of the BMW Service & Repair package, but you can opt for the standard two-year warranty instead, at RM870,000.
The M4 Competition Coupé featured new LED headlights with high-beam assist, M-specific styling elements, and staggered wheel setup (19-inch front, 20-inch rear). The car is further enhanced by M Sport brakes with red calipers, a carbon fiber roof, and laser LED taillights. Optional M Performance components, including a carbon rear wing, titanium silencer, and carbon rear diffuser, are available for those seeking an even more aggressive appearance.
The M4 Competition Coupé sources power from a 3.0-litre inline-6 TwinPower Turbo engine that makes 530 hp and 650 Nm. It gets a 20 hp boost from its predecessor. Its engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and power is sent to all four wheels (AWD). The M4 Competition Coupé does 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, onward to a top speed of 290 km/h.
Inside, the M4 Competition Coupé gets M Sport seats with electric adjustments in either Yas Marina Blue/Black, Silverstone/Black, Kyalami Orange/Black or Black. The driver gets a flat-bottomed M leather steering wheel with a 12 o’clock position marker.

The interior is further enhanced by premium materials, including carbon fiber trim, and advanced features such as ambient lighting, automatic dimming rearview mirror, and keyless entry, while the BMW Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch central touchscreen has also been updated to the newer BMW Operating System 8.5.
Safety-wise, the M4 Competition Coupé comes standard with the full suite of BMW’s Driving Assistant package, which comes with a Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention (Autonomous Emergency Braking), Parking Assistant plus, Reversing Assistant, and Active Cruise Control with a stop-and-go function.
The BMW M4 Competition Coupé is priced at RM918,600 on the road, without insurance, and inclusive of the BMW Service & Repair which consists of the 5-year extended warranty and service package. New owners will also get access to the BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, and a BMW Service Online.
