The 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance has just been launched in Malaysia. This performance all-electric sedan can be yours from RM242,000 onwards and can be ordered with a booking fee of RM1,000.
On the outside, Tesla has given the Model 3 Performance a series of sporty design bits to reflect its performance identity. Among the exterior bits available as standard include what Tesla calls the “Bespoke Performance Design”, which consists of a sportier-looking set of body kits, a rear diffuser, and a carbon fibre spoiler.
Powering the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance in Malaysia is a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup that pushes out 460 hp. This enables the performance sedan to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 262 km/h.
For better handling, Tesla has also fitted the Model 3 Performance with a bespoke chassis, and an adaptive suspension that features adaptive dampers, and bespoke stabiliser bars. Also thrown in are high-performance brakes that come with larger brake rotors, and calipers, along with performance brake pads.

Range-wise, the Tesla Model 3 Performance in Malaysia can carry you as far as 528 km (WLTP) on a single charge. This is naturally shorter than the 629 km range the regular Long Range AWD variant can deliver, due to its extra power.
Moving inside the Malaysian-spec Tesla Model 3 Performance, you will get sports seats that feature enhanced side and cushion bolster to hold you better around the corners. The front seats are also ventilation to keep you cool in the hot and humid Malaysian weather.
Like the other Model 3 variants, the Tesla Model 3 Performance comes with a black interior and standard. You may opt for a white interior for an extra RM5,000. Tesla has also added some carbon fibre details inside its latest performance sedan as well.
To recap, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance is now available in Malaysia at a starting price of RM242,000. You can drop a RM1,000 booking fee for the car, which Tesla promises will be delivered by Q2 2024 at the time of writing.
