Lotus Store now open at Pavilion Damansara Heights – brand’s first outlet in Malaysia

Lotus Cars Malaysia has opened its first Lotus Store at Pavilion Damansara Heights. Spanning 173.58 m², the store is open 10 months after the launch of the all-electric Lotus Eletre hyper-SUV in April last year, which has been well received in Malaysia with 50 cars already delivered as of this month, with another 200 cars on arrival.

Designed to reflect Lotus’ all-new international corporate identity, the Lotus Store at Pavilion Damansara Heights houses two of the brand’s latest products in Malaysia – the Eletre and the Emira sports car. The store also sports a dedicated wing for exclusive Lotus merchandise and apparel, as well as a lounge area.

Referred to by Lotus as the jewel in the crown for customers, the configurator room allows customers to accessorise and personalise every aspect of their vehicle. This includes exterior bits such as the paint colour, rims and tyre choices, and coloured brake callipers, as well as interior bits like the materials, steering wheel, carbon inlays, and more.

The Lotus Store at Pavilion Damansara Heights is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Specifically, it is located in the mall on the first floor at Lot 1.47.02.

Lotus’ first store in Malaysia at Pavilion Damansara Heights also marks a preamble to the opening of Lotus Cars Malaysia’s flagship showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam which is scheduled for Q2 2024. The brand also intends to further extend the Lotus footprint in the Northern and Southern regions, and implement a Lotus Mobile Service Solution for even greater customer convenience.

Lotus Cars Malaysia General Manager, Jack Zaal said, “The new era for Lotus Cars Malaysia began in 2018 with the establishment of a full-fledged after sales service outlet in Shah Alam, but as you can see with the time taken to open the new Lotus Store, our growth and brand presence has been a gradual but methodical approach. Here, the process of reintroducing the brand not only involved reassuring existing Lotus customers that we are here to care for their needs, but it was also paramount to have them and new potential customers accept, understand and embrace the new Lotus philosophy and global direction to build premium and top tier vehicles without having to compromise on the Lotus ideals, namely the pure enjoyment of driving.”

“The overwhelming acceptance from customers and well-timed release of the Eletre – advantaged by the Malaysia’s push towards vehicle electrification – has proven to become a pivotal launching pad for the rejuvenated Lotus brand in Malaysia. Following up with the Emira and future models that are due to arrive here, this has notably cemented Lotus’ position as a premier class marque in tandem with the brand’s revitalized line up of vehicles that cater to enthusiasts as well as its aggressive push towards electrification. Lotus Cars Malaysia’s pace for expansion will also exponentially accelerate to not only have a greater foot print in the top tier market segment but to provide customers with greater access to the brand”, added Jack Zaal.
