Stand a chance to win a Proton S70 at EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024, happening March 1-3



EON Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad is celebrating its 40th anniversary by hosting its largest annual event ever, the EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024. The Autofest is happening March 1 to 3, 2024, at EON’s headquarters in Glenmarie.

Those who wish to visit the event may do so within the hours of 10 am to 6 pm on these three days. The choices of cars present at the event range from Proton, Mitsubishi, Audi, Volkswagen, and Honda. The new Proton S70 and Smart #1 are available for you to check out.

At the opening ceremony of the event, EON CEO, Akkbar Danial said, “EON has delivered cars to Malaysians for the past four decades. Over the years, we have evolved from being the exclusive dealer for Proton into what we are today – Malaysia’s largest multi-brand car dealer, all under one roof. The EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024, with its attractive packages and discounts, is our way of saying thank you to all our customers and supporters.”

Besides officiating the Autofest, EON also launched its new end-to-end digital car financing platform that is powered by EON Capital Sdn Bhd, the company’s car financing arm. The platform enables almost instant approvals for financing applications and fund disbursement through partnerships with banks and other relevant parties.

Akkbar Danial said, “Buying a car has never been easier, faster, and safer. Starting here at the EON & Sahabat Autofest 2024 customers can choose the car that they want, secure financing online and given that all requirements are met, they could even potentially drive it home within the same day,” he said.

Customers who place orders and apply for new car financing via EON’s new digital car financing platform during the three days are in the running to win exciting prizes worth RM100,000 as well as the Grand Prize of a brand-new Proton S70.

Other participating brands such as AVIS car rental, PUSPAKOM, Pos Malaysia, and Petromin Express, a quick-stop car service centre will also be present at the event. In addition to that, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia staff are on hand to guide prospective university students interested in pursuing higher education relating to the automotive and other industries.
