If the Subaru Forester is too domesticated for your liking, there is now the Subaru Forester GT Wild Lite that is now available in Malaysia. Retailing at RM170,288, the Forester GT Wild Lite features Wild-exclusive features that can be spotted from a mile away.
Here’s a breakdown of what exactly the Wild Lite adds over the regular Forester:

That decal on the hood is an anti-glare decal that makes your driving experience a bit more pleasurable. Completing the “Wild” appearance of this special Forester is a set of bespoke 17-inch wheels which are wrapped in a set of all-terrain tyres from Yokohama.
There are 7 exterior colour options for the Subaru Forester GT Wild Lite, namely Crystal Black Silica, Ice Silver Metallic, Crystal White Pearl, Horizon Blue Pearl, Cascade Green Silica, Magnetite Grey Metallic, and Brilliant Bronze Metallic. This particular unit that you see in these pictures here is finished in Magnetite Grey Metallic.
Powering the Subaru Forester GT Wild Lite is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine that outputs a maximum of 156 hp (metric) and 196 Nm. Equipped with the brand’s signature symmetrical all-wheel drive system, the GT Wild Lite does the century sprint in 10.3 seconds, onward to a maximum speed of 193 km/h.
