Kineta celebrates milestone with lucky customer number 3,888



Kineta, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad, recently concluded its ‘Milestone Magic 3,888’ promotional campaign for its EV chargers, where it rewarded the lucky 3,888th customer with a free standard installation package valued at RM1,388, alongside cash vouchers worth RM1,500, and a special VIP walk-around tour of the Kineta headquarters.

The lucky customer number 3,888, Reeza Amirul, was crowned winner after he recently purchased a Wallbox Commander 22 kW AC charger through Kineta for his BYD Atto 3. When asked why he chose KINETA as his EV solution provider, he said, “Kineta has a good reputation for excellence, a qualified team of installers and as [a] subsidiary of Sime Darby. I have full confidence in them.”

The conclusion of the campaign marks an important milestone for Kineta, with 3,888 chargers sold to date, cementing its position as the preferred EV charging solutions provider among Malaysians. The company aims to reach 5,000 charger sales, including both AC and DC chargers, by mid-2024.

As of end-2023, Kineta now commands 35% of the EV charging solutions market share in Malaysia. In a press release, the company said that its success is a reflection of its commitment to meeting the growing demand for efficient and reliable charging infrastructure in Malaysia.
