Hello Smart app gets debit & credit card payment support – pay & charge, buy in-car internet via app

The Hello Smart app has gotten a new update, allowing support for both debit and credit card payments. With the new feature, owners can now pay and charge their vehicles with ease, or even purchase in-car internet data directly through the app.

Internet data prices offered by Smart Malaysia are 1GB for RM8, 3GB for RM21, and 5GB for RM30. As of now, users can access 70% of public chargers across Malaysia through the integrated EV charging map in the Hello Smart app. This is thanks to Smart Malaysia’s collaboration with various EV charging ecosystem stakeholders, allowing the carmaker to integrate all the charging stations from various providers in Malaysia into a single app.

Available since the launch of the app in Malaysia, customers can also purchase Smart merchandise through the e-Mall section in the app. Aside from the new features, the Hello Smart app allows users to monitor their Smart vehicle’s battery and charging status information, and remotely control the car’s air-con and windows.

There is also a Discover page where users can find the latest news, and events, and access the community page for all Smart #1 owners. Additionally, the Hello Smart app also allows potential customers to estimate monthly payments, and even apply for loans directly through the app.
