Shell Cafe launched in Malaysia – 80 outlets by year end, further expansion in 2024

Shell Malaysia has announced the official inauguration of its new Shell Cafe. Promised to provide an integrated and customer-centric experience, the Shell Cafe not only offers food and beverages but also a welcoming space for patrons to fulfil their refuelling requirements while on the move.

The array of food and beverage items available at the Shell Cafe includes its farm-to-cup coffees made from locally sourced and crafted Arabica and Liberica beans, and brewed by upskilled site heroes turned baristas. Shell Mobility Malaysia General Manager, Seow Lee Ming said that coffee at the Shell Cafe comes with an extra ‘kaw’ that Malaysians love, with a taste of fruity and spicy undertones, but also an array of food options.

Shell also offers classic coffees such as Americano, Latte, and Cappuccino, alongside special offerings including Dirty Latte and Cokespresso and a range of refreshing ice-blended frappes.

Hungry customers may also grab a meal at the Shell Cafe, with food items such as salted egg pasta, gourmet sausages, and convenience wraps, including meat-free options to choose from. Pastry lovers may pick from options such as firecracker sausage rolls, and chocolate rolls, to new offerings like curry puffs, almond croissants, scones, and cakes.

Lee Ming has also announced a total of 80 Shell Café sites will be opened by the end of the year, and the company is aiming to expand further in 2024 as well.
