To celebrate BYD’s one-year anniversary here in Malaysia, Sime Darby Beyond Auto today unveiled a special Anniversary Limited Edition for the BYD Atto 3. With only 500 units available, the limited edition milestone variant is now available for order, with deliveries scheduled for early 2024.
Based on the BYD Atto 3 Extended Range variant, the new celebratory limited edition model comes equipped with an exclusive body kit on the outside, consisting of a front bumper lip, front spoiler, front bumper panels, side mirror covers, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser.
To compliment the unique Boulder Grey or Ski White exterior colours, the chrome trims around the window panels have also been blacked out, and the model also gains additional trims on the side steps and C pillars for additional flair.

The anniversary Edition model is purely a cosmetic upgrade. That means no changes under the hood – the BYD Atto 3 continues to be powered a single motor on the front axle, supplying up to 203 hp and 310 Nm. Flat out, the BYD Atto 3 will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
The Extended Range variant, as its name suggests, comes equipped with a larger 60.48 kWh battery pack, boasting an extended range of 420 km on the WLTP test cycle. To charge, the on-board AC charger supports up to 6.6 kW of power, while DC charging goes up to 80 kW. The BYD Atto 3 also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, capable of supplying up to 2.2 kW of power via an external power adapter.
For the sportier looks of the BYD Atto 3 Anniversary Limited Edition, you can expect to shell out RM173,800 for it – making it RM6,000 dearer than the regular Extended Range variant.
In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, Sime Darby Beyond Auto will also be offering several special promotions to further sweeten the deal, including a free Wallbox charger, charging credits, a three-year service package, and even a chance to visit BYD’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China.
The promotion is applicable to both the BYD Atto 3 and Dolphin, with different offers for each model and variant, and will run from now until the 31st of December 2023.
