The year-end promotion by Volvo Car Malaysia entails special offers for Volvo cars on top of already-existing offers. This promotion is applicable to Volvo’s fully electric (BEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and mild-hybrid (MHEV) models.
2023 has been a year full of new electric cars in Malaysia, and it was all kick-started by the fully-electric Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric. Volvo’s other fully-electric offering is the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric. And just so you know, both electric Volvos can be purchased online.
Both the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric are easily one of the most powerful cars you can buy out there thanks to their dual-motor AWD setup. Both cars make 408 hp and 660 Nm – enabling 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds for the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric and 4.9 seconds for the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric. The year-end promotion is applicable for the PHEV V60, S60, S90, XC60, and XC90. Remember that all Volvo’s PHEV models have been updated for the coming year (MY24) and this has introduced some new improvements.
Now, all Volvo PHEVs can be charged at a rate of 6.4 kW which is twice as fast as it used to be. Do note that this is only applicable for 2-phase charging as single-phase charging is still done at 3.6 kW.
Other updates that Volvo Car Malaysia has introduced to its PHEV models include a new Vapour Grey exterior colour, a 5-year complimentary Digital Services package, a standard panoramic sunroof, and new YouTube app inclusion for the Google built-in system. There are also new wheel designs for the Volvo S90 Recharge, Volvo V60 Recharge, and Volvo S60 Recharge.
The promotion is also applicable to the mild-hybrid Volvo XC40 B5. All the models mentioned are offered with a complimentary Volvo Service Agreement 5+ (VSA5+) worth RM12,900, a complimentary Polestar Optimisation Software worth RM3,888, and a RM7,000 instant cash rebate.
