Powering the 2023 Range Rover Sport is a 48V Mild hybrid (MHEV) system that consists of a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the performance SUV’s system output is rated at 400 hp (metric) and 550 Nm.

Power is sent to all four wheels via the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, making it possible for the Range Rover Sport to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 242 km/h.

Built on the Modular Longitudinal Architecture that features flexible mixed-metal (MLA-Flex), JLR says that the luxury SUV has up to 35% higher torsional stiffness than its predecessor.
