Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is participating in Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur (TASKL) 2023, showcasing modified versions of the Mitsubishi Triton and the Mitsubishi Xpander. TASKL 2023 is taking place at MITEC Kuala Lumpur from June 9 to 11, 2023.
You’ve probably seen images of this car before, but now you will have a chance to see the modified Mitsubishi Xpander by Speedline Industries up close at the auto show. It pays tribute to the Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 rally car and is mainly a cosmetic upgrade.
Also showcased at the Mitsubishi booth at TASKL 2023 is a replica of the Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) version of the Mitsubishi Triton. Clearly distinguishable as a replica by its lack of a roll cage and with its Malaysian registered plates, it still gives a decent visual impact that is worth checking out.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is also showcasing two customer cars that have been modified. Naturally, with the brand’s offerings in Malaysia, the customer cars are a modified Mitsubishi Triton and a modified Mitsubishi Xpander. Together with the replica rally cars, the customer cars are on display at Hall 3, lot C301 at Level 1.

To add to the excitement of the event Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is giving away Mitsubishi merchandise to visitors who test drive either the Triton or the Xpander. Those who test drive the cars also stand a chance to win a Touch N Go reload pin worth RM300 from a lucky draw.
With only the Triton and the Xpander being offered, Mitsubishi’s entire lineup is present at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2023. The event will take place in MITEC Kuala Lumpur and will be open to visitors from June 9 to 11, 2023.
