2023 MINI Electric updated in Malaysia – panoramic sunroof, heated seats, new colour, RM193k



MINI Malaysia has launched the updated 2023 MINI Electric, alongside the new facelift BMW 3 Series which includes the 320i, 330i and 330e. The facelift version of the MINI Electric was launched in June 2021.

Prices for the MINI Electric starts from RM193,834 on-the-road, inclusive of a two-year warranty. With the four-year extended warranty and service package, prices start from RM199,164. Each purchase is also accompanied with MINI Public Charging Cables with one-year ChargeNow subscription.

As it is merely an update, new features in the MINI Electric includes a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats along with the new Nanuq White colour. The new colour adds to the existing Midnight Black and White Silver.

The MINI Electric is driven by a single, front-mounted electric motor that produces 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque. The electric motor draws power from a 28.9 kWh battery that offers up to 232 km of electric range based on the WLTP cycle. 

The MINI’s 0-100 km/h time is rated at 7.3 seconds, with a top speed of 150 km/h. Charging the MINI Electric with a 11kW AC charger takes just 3.5 hours for a full charge and 36 minutes to get from 10-80% state of charge (SoC) using a 50 kW CCS2 DC fast charger.

Standard kit for the exterior includes 17-inch Power Spoke wheels with run-flat tyres, adaptive LED headlamps, Exterior Mirror and Light Package. Inside, the MINI Electric features a head-up display, five-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay, 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and dual-zone air-conditioning.

As for driver aids, the MINI comes with the Park Assist and the Driving Assistant package which includes features such as lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, Approach Control Warning, Light City Braking. The MINI Electric is fitted with six airbags.
