As part of its continuous corporate social responsibility initiative, national carmaker Perodua has recently – once again – contributed goods and equipment worth a total of RM151,000 to two public hospitals, in an effort to further enhance the public healthcare system.

These items, delivered to Hospital Kuala Kubu Bharu and Hospital Selayang, include diagnostic equipment, rehabilitation equipment, patient care equipment, dialysis machine, as well as hampers for the patients and front liners. The contribution was presented by Perodua Sales Chief Operating Officer, JH Rozman Jaafar, to the hospital management, and witnessed by the medical officers and its staff.

Commenting on the initiative, Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said, “Our intention is to assist institutions that give the greatest benefit to all Malaysians, such as government hospitals which are available to all.”

These include the Sarawak General Hospital, Selayang hospital, Sungai Buloh Hospital, Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Likas, Shah Alam Hospital, Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital, Ampang Hospital, Putrajaya Hospital and several community clinics in the Hulu Selangor district.
