Starbucks launches 26 EV chargers in Malaysia – FOC until 31 October!

You can now recharge your electric vehicle (EV) as you get a refreshing drink at Starbucks. Today, Starbucks Malaysia together with Yinson GreenTech (YGT) has launched a total of 26 EV chargers in Malaysia at 17 Starbucks outlets nationwide, comprising both AC and DC fast chargers.

It is the first EV charger installation for a retail coffee chain in Malaysia, and the officiation of the chargers took place at Starbucks Eco Grandeur where a 60-kW DC fast charger was installed. Activation and payment for the EV charging facilities are done via the “chargEV” app. Upon launch, all the EV chargers at Starbucks will be free for use until October 31, 2022 (via activation on chargEV).
