You can now get your 70mai dashcams professionally installed at Trapo outlets

Malaysian car accessories brand, Trapo, is now the first-ever authorised dealer and installer of 70mai dashcams here on our shores, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Trapo and 70mai distributor, D.M. Dasher, last night at the Trapo Bangsar Hub.

With the partnership, a range of selected 70mai digital video recorders (dashcams) are now being offered through Trapo’s online shops and outlets nationwide, the latter also providing professional installation service and tutorials by trained personnel.

The companies said that the collaboration aims to make purchases of high-quality dashcams and its professional installation more easily accessible to the public, with a focus on providing high-quality customer experience, in line with both parties’ common vision.

A range of three 70mai products will be offered at Trapo outlets, including the M300, A500S, and A800S – the latter two also being offered with an additional rear RC-06 camera. Prices for the dashcams range from RM175 to RM649, with installation services priced between RM50 to RM150 depending on camera and complexity (hardwire kit).

Trapo says that the installation will take between 15 and 30 minutes, or slightly longer at 45 to 60 minutes for those who have also purchased a hardwire kit for parking surveillance.

A Trapo representative also said that they will be expanding their reach to Penang in the coming months, before setting foot into East Malaysia.
