Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd has officially introduced the Ecopia H/L 001, replacing the EP 850. The tyre is specifically designed for SUV drivers who desire a balance between safety, long wear life and fuel efficiency.
Developed using Bridgestone’s advanced technologies and compounds such as the NanoPro-tech, the Ecopia H/L 001 provides confident wet handling and braking performance, an optimized contact patch for longer-lasting tread life and low rolling resistance to enhance fuel efficiency. The new tyre is also designed for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Through our market feedback, key attributes of driver’s when evaluating tyres are grip, wet performance, wear life and comfort. The Ecopia H/L 001 is a tyre that excels in all these fields with the added bonus of fuel savings,”
In the new Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 001, new tread pattern with improved chamfered design provides a flat contact point for enhanced wet grip and handling. Based on internal benchmarking, up to 12% shorter wet braking distance is achieved compared to the EP 850.
The deeper lug depth on the tyre shoulder is meanwhile designed to strengthen stiffness in the tyre and increase wear resistance as well as noise vibration for a more comfortable ride.
Bridgestone’s NanoPro-tech chemistry strengthens the bond between silica and polymer, resulting in lower heat generation for better fuel efficiency and carbon emissions.

For this initial launch timing, the new Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 001 is available in 10 sizes ranging from 15-inch to 18-inch and priced from RM294 to RM854 a piece.
