BMW M3, M4, and 430i get SST-exempted pricing in Malaysia – up to RM25k off



Following the extension of the SST exemptions until the end of the year as part of the Government’s Pemerkasa+ plan, BMW Malaysia has now announced the SST-exempted pricing information for the 430i M Sport Coupe, as well as the M3 and M4 Competition, which were previously announced with their full prices due to product availability schedule.

As these are fully imported models, a 50% exemption for the sales and service tax will be applied. As such, the the BMW 430i M Sport Coupe is now priced at RM390,033 (-RM16k), while the M3 Competition and M4 Competition Coupe starts at RM639,664 (-RM25k) and RM659,357 (-RM25k) respectively.

The prices above are all on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the basic two-year factory warranty. With the optional five-year unlimited-mileage warranty and free-service package box ticked at checkout, the BMW 430i is priced at RM403,153, while the M3 and M4 Competition rises to RM665,904 and RM685,597 respectively – with SST exemptions applied.

Aside from the updated pricing, the cars’ spec sheet remain identical from before. The BMW 430i M Sport Coupe continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with 258 hp and 400 Nm sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The M3 and M4 Competition models, meanwhile, are packed with a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, which makes 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque to power the rear wheels strictly via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
