All-new Mitsubishi Outlander set for global reveal on 16th February 2021

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will be launching the all-new Outlander on 16th February, hosted by the US region.

In the short teaser video, the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander is seen being tested on the toughest terrains such as gravel, mud, water wading and even snow.

According to MMC, the Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) is their latest technology combined with the all-new platform. The S-AWC system integrates 4WD torque distribution and individual braking (ESP) to deliver precise steering and stability.

MMC also said “a new drive mode selector is specifically designed to provide optimal control by sensing the driver’s operation and vehicle behavior [sic].”

While still covered in disguising pattern, the all-new Outlander sport the company’s Dynamic Shield design at the front end. The now-familiar two-tier lighting placement seen on the latest Mitsubishi Xpander and Eclipse Cross achieves the consistency in the new line-up of Mitsubishi vehicles.

More information such as the powertrain and key features will only be revealed at the launch that is happening on 16th February 2021.
