Honda Malaysia has launched its latest digitalised web service, in the form of online new car pre-booking platform. The pre-booking function is the latest addition to Honda Malaysia’s shopping tools on its official website, which include other features such as loan calculator, models comparison and Honda Insurance Plus.
To access the latest feature, interested customers can access the booking page via the ‘New Car Pre-Booking’ button located within the shopping tools section on the Honda Malaysia official website, or as they enter the specific model’s information page.
The online pre-booking procedure consists of four steps, with the first step being to select their preferred Honda dealer. While poking around the website, we found that the service currently only supports three dealerships – one each in Selangor, Johor, and Sabah – but we’re sure that more will be added in due time.
After selecting your preferred dealer, customers will then be asked to fill in their particulars, then select their chosen model, variant, colour, and accessories pack. Once all of those are completed, you’ll then be brought to a page where you can review your information, and proceed to make the pre-booking payment of RM99.
A confirmation email with all the necessary information will be sent to the address that you have given in the first step. Within 72 hours, you will then be contacted by a designated sales advisor from the selected dealer to proceed with the purchase, such as arranging a test drive appointment if you wish.
Honda Malaysia’s new car pre-booking online platform also has a tracking feature where customers can monitor their pre-booking status via the ‘Track My Pre-Booking’ status page. The platform will also be added to the recently-unveiled HondaTouch mobile application by early next year.

It allows Honda customers to stay ahead of the crowd and pre-book their preferred Honda model through a most convenient and user-friendly process which is right at their fingertips, anytime and anywhere.”
