Honda Malaysia announced that the recently launched 5th generation Honda City has close to 9,000 bookings to date. Amongst the three variants available, the V variant has been the most popular – making up 54% of the total bookings.

Since its launch, the all-new Honda City has been well received by customers in the Central region, which contributed the highest number of bookings at 44% of the total bookings, followed by the Northern region at 22% and the Southern region at 19% respectively.

The City pictured below in Platinum White Pearl has been the go-to colour among customers. The colour option has taken up 28% of the overall sales. To date, more than 2,400 units of the all-new City have been delivered to customers nationwide.

“The 5th generation, all-new Honda City has been very well received in the market and bookings have increased by an additional 80% within a month of its official launch. This outstanding Honda model continues to capture the hearts of Malaysians be it working adults, young executives or young families,” said Honda Malaysia, CEO and Managing Director, Mr. Toichi Ishiyama.

The all-new Honda City is priced from RM73,851 for the S variant, RM81,664 for the E variant, and RM86,561 for the V variant. This includes a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty, as well as five times free labour service, within 100,000 km or 5 years, whichever comes first. Pricing for the RS variant has yet to be announced.
