With all its horsepower and aerodynamic aids, the McLaren Senna is a formidable track weapon that you can drive to work. Now, there’s proof. Here’s one tearing the tarmac at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, making us feel sorry for the rest.

The video starts off with incredible B-rolls of the same car in a garage that is the wet dream of every car nut. It even had another Senna and an old Ferrari Formula 1 race car parked in it!

Then the madness begins. In a field made up of countless Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, the Senna just made everyone look like they’re were moving backwards! Even the Huracan Performante (or what seems like one) with 640 hp and 600 Nm from a 5.2-litre V10 seemed helpless in putting up a fight with the Senna on the main straight.

This is not the first time the McLaren Senna has been caught bullying everyone in its way on the track. It was so quick, you’d be easily fooled to think the video was sped up, but it wasn’t. Watch it here.

Powering the beast named after one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers known to man, Ayrton Senna, is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that pushes out 789 hp and 800 Nm. It’ll do 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before topping out at a mind-boggling 340 km/h.

Regularly spend countless hours online looking at cars and parts I can't afford to buy. How a car makes you feel behind the wheel should be more important than the brand it represents - unless resale value is your thing.
