You have no excuse to not wear a mask anymore now that K&N has made one

K&N, the guys that make the high-performance reusable air filters for our cars and even Nascar, is now making face masks. If there’s something you need as a car guy during this Covid-19 pandemic, it’s this. That’s it.

With their expertise in air filtration – especially in high-performance applications where every bit of contaminant can potentially damage the engine – you know damn well that these are the face masks that will work.

The main mask portion is made out of Procool fabric, which K&N promises to be lightweight, breathable, and moisture wicking, keeping your face cool while wearing a face covering. Silver ions are also used in the fabric to help “prevent the spread of bacteria” and reduce odor.

The K&N face masks also features adjustable ear loops for better comfort, as well as an “action strap”, an additional strap joining the ear loops at the back, letting you hang the mask off of your neck when not in use – preventing contamination by placing the masks on unsanitary surfaces.

Just like its air filters for cars, the K&N facemask is also washable. It is now available for sale in black or grey colours, priced at USD19.99 (~RM84) for a pack of two – not too shabby, considering they are the legends in (automotive) air filtration after all.
