Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, together with authorised dealer Ingress Motors Centre (IMC) has officiated a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spare parts) Mitsubishi showroom in Petaling Jaya.

This is IMC’s fourth Mitsubishi showroom in Malaysia with the first three in Puchong, Bangi and Shah Alam respectively. Just like the first three, the latest showroom by IMC in Petaling Jaya has also incorporated the company’s new corporate brand; represented by its global tagline “Drive Your Ambition”.

“MMM and IMC have been business partners since 2013 and within seven years, IMC has established four out of 14 MMM showrooms within Klang Valley,” said MMM CEO, Tomoyuki Shinnishi.

He added, “As we work together towards introducing the new XPANDER to the Malaysian market very soon, the opening of this new showroom is in line with putting our customers at the forefront and as our utmost priority. It is our aim to serve our customers better in terms of sales and after sales in the central region.”

Also speaking at the new showroom launch was Ingress Motors Centre Auto Dealership Division, President, Rabian Abdul Rahman who said, “I strongly believe that the opening of our new Mitsubishi showroom in PJ will pave the way for new Mitsubishi customers. There is an enormous market potential here in view of the huge population and promising growth of not less than 1.25% per annum with at least 60% of mid to high-income households.”

With a built-up area of over 34,000 square feet, the 3S Centre houses a customer lounge with WIFI and sufficient space to display up to four cars. Its service centre also comes with a fully-equipped workshop with 12 service bays.

There are now 52 Mitsubishi showrooms (out of which 46 are 3S Centres) and 52 service outlets throughout Malaysia. In East Malaysia, MMM is represented by 14 showrooms (7 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah). As for the new 3S Centre in Petaling Jaya, it is located at No. 13, Jalan 225 Section 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya.

MMM also recently launched a new 3S centre in Temerloh, Pahang, followed by the opening of a new, larger warehouse for spare parts in Shah Alam, Selangor. These efforts should more than prepare the company for the imminent arrival of the Xpander, which will be launched this year following its preview recently in Midvalley Megamall, KL.
