In line with the “new normal” that has been ingrained into our lives since the COVID-19 pandemic, BMW Group Malaysia today introduced a new Contactless Door-to-Door Service to better serve its BMW and MINI customers.
With the new Door-to-Door Service, BMW and MINI customers can now service their vehicles without leaving the comfort of their home. A service provider will be assigned to collect the vehicle from a location of your choice, and then transported to the chosen dealership for servicing. Once completed, the vehicle will then be dropped off at the customers’ preferred location.
The new service is also available for delivery of new vehicles (depending on location and customer preference), where your new BMW or MINI will be delivered straight to your doorstep on a flatbed truck directly from your preferred dealership.
BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director, Harald Hoelzl said, “The Door-to-Door service was a natural progression for us in providing exceptional customer service. The new service will not only minimise contact between customers and BMW dealers in the new normal, but also improve on convenience by integrating our premium services into the customer’s daily routine.”
The Door-to-Door service is a charged option, made in collaboration with Allianz Worldwide Partners. According to BMW Malaysia, transportation for a BMW or MINI vehicle on a flatbed truck starts at RM199 per trip for distances up to 40 km. Meanwhile, the bonded carrier service, which is only available in the Klang Valley, starts at RM230 per trip up to 40 km distance.
The fee does not include 6% SST and additional toll charges, and extra charges will be incurred for distances beyond 40 km. For additional information, customers can contact their preferred dealerships directly, or visit the BMW Malaysia website here.
