Bosch donates batteries and windscreen wipers to government hospitals

In support of our front liners working tirelessly throughout the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia (Bosch AA) has donated several aftermarket parts to local government hospitals to ensure that the ambulances are in great working order as part of its ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The aftermarket parts include new maintenance-free vehicle batteries, cabin batteries used to power up important medical equipment on board, as well as Aerotwin Retrofit wipers that will be especially helpful during the current rainy season.

Bosch AA Malaysia Marketing Manager, Dillion Goh said, “Ambulances are a vital need for both patients and hospitals. Bosch felt it was crucial to deliver peace of mind to drivers and medical workers so that their mission to save lives will not be interrupted by unwanted situations such as a breakdown.

“We are truly humbled by the dedication of the medical community over the past few months, and would like to show them our support so they are able to count on us when it comes to vehicle maintenance and road safety,” added Goh. Bosch pledges to continue supporting government hospitals to help ensure the safety and well-being of medical workers and patients remain a top priority on our shared roads.

The ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’ CSR initiative is part of Bosch AA’s wider ‘Drive for Life’ car and road safety campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness on basic automotive knowledge and the importance of proactive vehicle maintenance using quality car parts.
