As such, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is looking to address this matter with a new sales initiative that will give Volkswagen owners the option to have their cars delivered right to their doorstep.
The service is available at all authorised Volkswagen dealerships nationwide and if you’re wondering what charges are like, delivery is free for owners located within a 20 km radius from their selected dealership.
These vehicles will be delivered on a flatbed carrier truck and will be fully covered in canvas to protect the exterior during delivery so the image shown is merely for illustration purposes. Adhering to strict safety guidelines, the carrier trucks are cleaned and disinfected before and after each delivery, with drivers regularly checked and practising Covid-19 safety measures.
Owners will also receive an SMS notification once their new car has been collected from the dealership and is being delivered. As an added safety measure, the owner’s Welcome Kit and documents will be safely placed in the locked car while the keys will be sealed in an envelope.
For owners seeking additional peace of mind, the Volkswagen Deep Sanitisation service package is now available with prices starting from RM80 to RM150 depending on vehicle size. The treatment eradicates more than 99% of germs and bacteria inside the car and its air conditioning system.
