There a lot of you who enjoy a good cup of coffee and there are just as many if not more who enjoy driving and appreciate cars along with their mechanical marvels. Few however, are truly enthusiastic about both.
For those who are, and the even smaller group who can truly, freely fork out exorbitant amounts of money for an art piece that makes the liquid gold, these automotive-inspired espresso machines made by Super Veloce are nothing short of centre pieces.
Heck, these ground coffee/capsule type espresso makers are such spectacular items that they can even be ornaments in a living room as what you’re about to see are all hand-built masterpieces in limited numbers, out of aerospace materials.
Royale
Price: POA
Inspired by Formula 1 engines from the 1990s, looking at the components list of the “V12” espresso maker makes you wonder if they were building something for space exploration. Among them are aerospace-grade alloy, stainless steel titanium, Royal Purple Amethyst and thermoset Gold Leaf carbon fibre, 18 carat white gold, 18 carat yellow gold and diamonds!
Aurum 18 carat
Price: 44,490 Euros (approx. RM209,100)
Limited to only 10 units for the entire world, there’s more silver in this than gold compared to the Royale. It’s also made of 18 carat gold, stainless steel titanium and aerospace-grade alloy but without the fancy gold leaf carbon fibre, white gold and diamonds.
Nero Carbonio
Price: 13,829 Euros (approx. RM64,995)
Available in V8, V10 and V12 form, the Nero Carbonio is finished in motorsport-grade Jet Black and thermoset carbon fibre. No aerospace material or gold here although the stainless steel titanium still applies.
Serie Titanio
Price: 10,015 Euros (approx. RM47,069)
Like the Nero Carbonio, the Serie Titanio is also available in V8, V10 and V12 engine configurations but unlike the Nero Carbonio, this one’s fully customisable with six different colours – Red, Blue, Orange, Gold, Black, Titanium – applied through an aerospace anodising process.
Veloce RS Black Edition
Price: 10,200 Euros (approx. RM47,939)
Paying tribute to the last of the air-cooled engines from the 993-generation Porsche 911, only 993 units (and aptly so) will ever be made. It’s handcrafted from aerospace-grade materials such as surgical stainless steel, aluminium alloy, titanium and carbon fibre.
Espresso Veloce Flat Six
Price: 9,398 Euros (approx. RM44,170)
The Flat Six pays tribute to the last of the air-cooled flat-six “Boxer” engines by Porsche from the period of 1994 to 1998. It’s made of anticorodal alloy and 316 Titanium and 304 grade stainless steel.
