Proton has announced that it will be complying with the government’s directive, following the announcement of movement control order from 18th to 31st March by prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

As such, all customer-facing operations – including sales and after sales – will cease starting today, while all Proton outlets will be temporarily shut.

Concurrently, the company’s production operations in its Tanjung Malim and Shah Alam manufacturing plants will also be systematically shut down in an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In case of emergency such as accidents and breakdowns, Proton’s customer care hotline is still reachable around the clock at 1-800-888-398 to provide urgent assistance. For other inquiries and complaints, Proton can be contacted via email at [email protected].
