You can now buy a new Renault without stepping into a dealership

If you are a person who despise interpersonal communication in any form, remember to always pay your internet bills because the future clearly hinges on internet connectivity.

Claiming to be “a first for the [local] automotive industry”, TC Euro Car (TCEC) has launched the Renault E-Store, introducing options to both purchase and subscribe to Renault vehicles on the Renault Malaysia website.

TCEC promises to digitalise the entire car buying process from end-to-end. That includes test drive arrangements, as well as taking delivery of the car.

The ‘Buy a Renault’ feature on the Renault Malaysia website allows customers to select the Renault model and colour of choice, make booking fee payment, submit necessary documents and trade-in valuation details, bank loan preferences, as well as viewing the status of their new vehicle.

If you have dealershiphobia, you can even arrange for the delivery of your vehicle at a location of your choice through the website, at an additional fee.

To ensure that customers don’t hit a snag during the process, TCEC says that dedicated Renault agents will be on hand to guide the customer through every step.

As for Renault Subscription, customers will be able to select the vehicle and subscription plan, upload supporting documents, view application status, submit security deposit and manage their monthly subscription payments.

Upon confirmation, TCEC says that customers will be able to drive away in their brand-new Renault cars within 14 days from the date of payment, depending on model.

Additionally, customers who opted for the Switch plan will be able to request and manage their Switch vehicles (Megane RS or Koleos) online through the portal.

If you would like to try out the cars before putting down an order, you will now be able to request for a test drive at your preferred Renault showroom through the website.

Specific to the Renault Captur, TCEC has also partnered with GoCar to offer a three-hour pressure-free test drive, without an accompanying salesperson. Just request for a code through the website, and you’ll be able to unlock and drive the Captur at more than 250 locations nationwide.

To celebrate the launch of the Renault E-Store, TCEC is offering a ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ promotion to the first 50 customers who purchase online. Purchasing any Renault cars through the E-Store will land you a free six-month subscription for the Renault Captur, and the subscription will be available for transfer within family members.
