MINI wants to be on top with these new “floating” wheel hubcaps

You can now get your MINI to look like a Rolls-Royce – at in the wheel hubcaps department.

MINI and John Cooper Works models owners can now start harassing their local dealerships for the new “floating” wheel hubcaps that stay upright even when their wheels are rotating, just like a Rolls-Royce. Superficial stuff really, but undeniably cool.

The new “floating” hub caps are available two different versions – either with the MINI or John Cooper Works logo.

In other news, MINI Malaysia recently introduced 60 units of the 60 Years Edition MINI Cooper that dons a new British Racing Green exterior paint finish, unique 17-inch light alloy wheels and a Dark Maroon interior that’s finished with commemorative touches on the seats and steering wheel.

Exclusively available as a 3-door variant, the 60 Years Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine with 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque that’s good for a 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.7 seconds and a 235 km/h top speed.
