BMW Malaysia has just released the confirmed pricing of the newly launched G02 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport which retails for RM364,800, quite a bit lower than the estimated RM380k price tag announced at the launch.
It is also some RM35k cheaper than its direct competitor, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Coupe AMG Line which is also locally assembled like the BMW. While the X4 has the pricing advantage, it still loses out on the Merc’s suite of Advanced Driving Assistance Systems.
To recap, the X4 in the xDrive30i guise gets the B48 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and 8-speed ZF automatic combo to deliver 252 hp and 350 Nm of twist. Century sprint is dispatched in 6.3 seconds while top speed is capped at 240 km/h, quicker than the GLC 300 Coupe if that’s your concern.
Dressed in the M Sport trim, our local-spec X4 is furnished with 20-inch M light alloy wheels Double-spoke style 699 M, M Sport brakes with blue calipers, adaptive LED headlamps and twin exhaust outlets.
Inside you’ll find Vernasca leather upholstery, 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, 10.25-inch BMW Navigation Professional infotainment system, 16-speaker Harman Kardon, Heads Up Display, panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate amongst others.
There are four exterior shades to choose from – Alpine White, Flamenco Red, Carbon Black and Phytonic Blue. Every purchase of the G02 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport is covered with a 5-Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service.
