While the Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift recently made its global debut, that is not stopping Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) to introduce a new variant of the outgoing model. Introducing the new locally assembled Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Coupe AMG Line.
This is the first time the Coupe version of the GLC is assembled at MBM’s Pekan plant and the company went for a feature packed product strategy. Equipped with the top of the line 2.0-litre engine, sporty AMG Line and advanced driver assistance systems.

Dressed in the AMG Line, the GLC 300 Coupe checks all the boxes as the GLC 250 Coupe that was on offer previously – AMG body kit, diamond grille, aluminium-look running boards, LED Intelligent Light System and 20-inch multi-spoke light-alloys.
Inside, you’ll find Artico leather seats (red or black), AMG sports pedals, black piano-lacquer or light longitudinal-grain aluminium interior trim, AMG flat-bottom sports steering wheel, COMAND Online infotainment system, Burmester surround sound system and powered sunroof. Comprehensive list of equipment, but be sure to check out what the facelift model has if you haven’t.
Under the hood rests the M274 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine pushing out 245 hp and 370 Nm of torque paired to a 9-speed 9G-Tronic. Century sprint is done in 6.5 seconds while top speed is registered at 236 km/h. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, Dynamic Select and Sports Suspension are standard fitment here.
Safety is a big step up compared to the previous GLC 250 Coupe. The new model variant gains Lane Tracking Package, Blind Sport Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Attention Assist.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Coupe 4MATIC AMG Line is priced at RM399,888 on-the-road without insurance, a full RM46,000 cheaper than the fully imported (CBU) GLC 250 Coupe on offer previously.
