This is the fastest accelerating lawnmower in the world!

Honda’s Mean Mower has once again splice its way into the record books by setting a new Guinness World Records for the “Fastest 0-100 mph Acceleration for a Lawnmower”.

The new record of 6.29 seconds was set in Germany with experienced stunt driver and race car driver, Jess Hawkins, behind the wheel of the Honda HF 2622 lawn tractor or more famously, the Mean Mower V2.

It’s powered by a 999cc 4-cylinder engine from a CBR1000RR Fireblade SP superbike, with around 200 hp and a 13,000 rpm redline.

With a super-light frame and dry engine weight of just 70 kg, the mean mower achieves a higher power-to-weight ratio than even the Bugatti Chiron!

With a top speed well in excess of 240 km/h, the Mean Mower V2 takes over the original Mean Mower from back in 2014 which achieved a top speed of 187 km/h.
