Guess Malaysians are not a fan of the Honda HR-V RS’ Ivory White interior

The recently introduced Honda HR-V RS will now come with a full black interior following customers feedback for a more sensible interior theme. Honda Malaysia says all the Ivory White parts will be replaced by black items.

Retail price remains unchanged at RM124,800, on-the-road without insurance but what’s new is the black treatment for the centre console, front panel, leather seats and door panel lining.

Equipment list reads the same as well which includes 18-inch dual tone alloys, RS-specific black body kit, reverse camera, 8-way powered driver seat, Honda LaneWatch camera, paddle shifters, 6 airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist and Hill Start Assist.

Under the hood, you’ll find the same 1.8-litre SOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine and CVT combo with 142 hp and 172 Nm driving the front wheels. The Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering system – which we adore – is still here.

The HR-V is available in 5 exterior shades – Passion Red Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Ruse Black Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
