The upcoming Lexus LM adds spice and sparkles to the Toyota Alphard

As if the Lexus RX and Toyota Harrier co-existence in the past hasn’t left us scratching our heads, Lexus is about to make you dig into your scalp with the new “LM” (simply known as the Luxury Minivan) – essentially a glorified Toyota Alphard.

So if the Toyota Alphard already epitomises the godfather of boxy, luxury people-movers, in Malaysia at least, it will be interesting to see how much more luxurious the LM would be.

It could be furnished with crystals made out of outer space materials or upholstery produced from unicorn hide – we don’t know but we’re excited to find out.

Not much has been revealed except for a close-up shot of the front end, which sports the signature front design of all new Lexus models along with a side profile shot that clearly points out the similarities between the Alphard and LM – especially with the B-pillar design.

One thing’s for sure, more of these white toasters here, whether Toyotas or Lexus’, you can forget about the rules – the biggest wins.
