Shortly after releasing the first images of the Proton Iriz facelift, the national carmaker also released a set of official photos for their B-Segment sedan. The facelifted Proton Persona gains updated design cues trickled down from the X70 as well as updated in-car technologies.
On the outside, the grille now features the Ethereal Bow and Infinite Weave motif combined with a new sleeker lower bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights. Over to the rear you’ll find a shark fin antenna, ducktail spoiler and neater rear bumpers. The refreshed Persona now rides on a set of 15-inch eight twin-spoke aluminium wheels.
Inside, you are greeted with a more modern cabin thanks to a new instrument cluster design, a GKUI-based touchscreen infotainment system, a frameless rear-view mirror, an X70 gear lever and a new trims for the seats.
No word on the powertrain just yet but expect the Persona to soldier on with the same 1.6-litre four-cylinder VVT engine and CVT combo with 107 hp and 150 Nm of torque. More information about the facelifted Proton Persona and its technical specifications will be released closer to the launch date.
