Lexus just unveiled the new UX wearing Nike Air Force 1 “shoes”

In celebrating the launch of the first ever, all-new Lexus UX, the company has fitted the car with custom tyres inspired by designer John Elliot and the Nike Air Force 1 shoe.

Revealed at the New York Fashion Week after-party recently, the collaboration features an all-white UX with custom tyre details inspired by Elliott’s design of the shoe.

The tyre features white on white layers, double-stitched leather and a stepped metal air valve that resembles Elliot’s stacked metal lace tip.

The Lexus UX made its world debut early last year at the Geneva Motor Show with UX200 with 168 hp and the UX250h with a combined 176 hp, paired with Lexus’ Direct Shift CVT.

Lexus Malaysia also displayed the new UX at the 2018 KLIMS, in the form of the UX200. The car also featured a host of Lexus Safety System+ which includes Pre-collision System (PCS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA) and Adaptive High-Beam System (AHS) among others.
