Besides ultra-luxurious limousines and sexy coupes, Lexus also knows a thing or two about making M3 rivalling cars like the V8 powered Lexus RC F. Now the Japanese luxury carmaker has teased a hardcore, track-focused RC F for the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
Based on a single teaser image, it would appear Lexus RC F Track Edition will wear a carbon fibre rear wing complete with an “F” inscription on the end plates. The Track Edition will also wear a matte finish paint job similar to the Fuji Graphite paint on the F10th Anniversary Limited RC F.
Expect minimal changes to the 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 pushing out 470 hp and 530 Nm to drive the rear wheels via an eight-speed sport direct-shift automatic transmission. Century sprint is done in 4.5 seconds and on full whack, the standard RC F will hit 270 km/h.
The focus of the Track Edition should be its aerodynamic capabilities and chassis tuning for better turn-in response and cornering stability.
