Subaru is gearing up for the 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS), hinting that there will be two concept models on display, the Forester STI and Impreza STI Concept Model. Developed in collaboration with Subaru Technica International (STI), the two concept models wear exclusive STI parts for enhanced aesthetic appeal and performance.

The Forester STI Concept Model is based on the top of the range e-BOXER Advance hybrid variant and gets spiced up with a Fighter Grey paint job, 19-inch multi-spoke aluminium wheels, Brembo front monoblock six-pot calipers and a more aggressive body kit. Subaru also hinted that the concept also gets a “Bordeaux” interior with additional trims.

The Levorg takes a more motorsport-inspired approach with the introduction of performance enhancing STI parts including flexible tower bar, aerodynamic body kit and flexible draw stiffener. All these combined gives the car sharper handling and better stability at high speeds. It also wears a dual tone paint job, 19-inch BBS alloy wheels and a set of Recaro seats.
