Also previewed in Toyota’s space at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show was the new Vios, with an estimated price of RM 77,200 for the Vios 1.5 J, RM 81,200 for the 1.5 E, and RM 87,300 for the 1.5G, where order books are now open.

Like the all-new Camry, readers have been quick to point out their displeasure of the Vios’ new design – citing it to be “too much” for their liking.

Also like the new Camry, the Vios will be sold with the trusty 2NR-FE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i engine that has proven to be a reliable power source, paired to a 7-speed CVT gearbox. Output is rated at 107 hp and 140 Nm.

Goodies offered in the new Vios include a 360-degree surround view camera, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a dashcam.
