A recent research by Select Car Leasing recently revealed what the most searched car brands were around the world, segmented by different continents and you’d never guess which brand Malaysians were most curious about.

While Mercedes-Benz may be enjoying total dominance in the local luxury vehicle scene, it’s Lamborghini that has enjoyed better exposure through the Google search engine.

In fact, based on the infographic above, most of Southeast Asia seem to have a keen interest on the Italian supercar brand – as it is most searched for in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and “Negaraku“.

This monthly search data is based on 12 months of data (Sept 2017-Sept 2018) via the Google keyword planner application and is solely based on Google searches only, and not other search engines.
