Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has just introduced its first 3S centre here in Batu Pahat, Johor together with its newest authorised dealer, AJ Premium Motors. The new 3S centre not expands the Volvo brand’s footprint in the bustling town of Batu Pahat but also provide greater aftersales coverage for customers in the Southern region.
Managing Director of VCM, Lennart Stegland said: “There is growing interest for our models in Malaysia and we are actively setting-up dealerships in strategic areas around Malaysia to better service this need.”
The newly minted 3S centre adheres to Volvo’s latest global corporate image, providing the same Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) as other dealerships not only in Malaysia but also in Europe. The VRE covers not only the aesthetical aspect of the showroom but also the level of service from shopping, buying and servicing a Volvo vehicle.
Managing Director of AJ Premium Motors, Jacky Ong said at the opening ceremony: “Our presence in Batu Pahat makes it more convenient for owners from the surrounding areas of Muar, Kluang and Segamat to service their cars or for prospective customers to view new Volvo models.”
Since it began operations on 1 July 2018, Volvo Batu Pahat has collected over 30 bookings in one week! A clear sign of the growing appetite for the Scandinavian Premium carmaker in the region. The bookings were made up of the Volvo XC60 and XC90 SUVs. One lucky owner also took delivery of his brand-new Volvo XC60 T5 in conjunction with the showroom’s official opening ceremony.
