Before Mercedes-AMG officially debuts the Mercedes-AMG GT Concept at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), it appears that CarScoops have picked up an allegedly leaked image of the car in full.

Low-resolution aside, the car in question is very likely the final version of the AMG GT Concept that was repeatedly teased over the past year. Details such as slim LED headlamps, Panamericana grille, door-mounted wing mirrors, sloping roofline and subtle rear wing all points towards the AMG GT Concept.

Said to be called the GT4, the four-door coupe will feature an electrified version of the M178 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that is capable of generating up to 600 kW (805 hp). Paired to a new, fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, the GT 4 is capable of a sub 3 second century sprint time. It will also be the second AMG model to bear the “EQ Power+” designation, after the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One race car.

The Mercedes-AMG GT4 will be presented in full come March at the 2018 GIMS and will spearhead AMG’s future plans to produce more high-performance hybrid drive systems.
