Peugeot Malaysia has finally launched the highly-anticipated Peugeot 3008 SUV in Malaysia, now let us tell you whether this range-topping 3008 1.6 THP Allure is the car for you.
Locally, you can have the 3008 in two variants, the entry-level Active priced at RM142,888 and the top-spec Allure priced at RM155,888. Both variants are powered by the same 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder THP engine that kicks out 165 hp and 240 Nm of torque. A six-speed automatic is tasked to send drive to the front wheels. Main rivals for the French SUV include the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Volkswagen Tiguan and Renault Koleos.
Customers can choose from five exterior shades – Metallic Copper, Magnetic Blue, Amazonite Grey while Ultimate Red and Pearl White (featured in the video) are a RM1,590 option.The fully-imported Peugeot 3008 is backed by a 5-Year or 120,000 km warranty with 24-hour Peugeot Assistance.
