Gallery: Geely Boyue SUV previewed for the first time, and it looks promising!

It’s been a long but fruitful day for a lot of us, but it seems that everyone can’t get enough of Proton’s future model, the Boyue SUV. So, without further ado.

The unit on display here is of the 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder (TGDI badge) producing 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque paired to a six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. However, it is in no way an accurate representation of what we will be getting.

This particular unit is fully decked out in the highest trim. There’s features like keyless entry and push-start button, full LCD instrument cluster, brown leather wrapped seats, adaptive cruise control, 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Eco and Sport drive modes, hill descent control, dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic handbrake and even panoramic sunroof.

In China alone, Geely sold a grand total of 109,000 units of the Boyue in the whole of 2016, but the numbers have surged to 103,000 units this year alone, between January and May. Of course, when the Boyue is launched on our shores, the steering wheel will be on the right side. For now, do enjoy the pictorial gallery of the Geely Boyue.
