Lexus Malaysia has begun taking orders for their halo car, the all-new Lexus LC. It’s currently offered in the sole LC 500 trim and pricing is set at a firm RM940,000.00 for private ownership.
The LC 500 is powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine belting 470 hp and 527 Nm of torque. All that is channeled to the rear wheels through a 10-speed electronically controlled Direct Shift transmission, helping it sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
All four corners get independent suspension and 20-inch 10-spoke cast alloy wheels. The fronts get shod with 245/45 section rubbers while the rear gets wider 275/40 for more grip.
It is fully imported from the Motomachi factory in Japan, which is exactly the same plant that produced the LFA supercar between 2011 to 2013. All purchases of the LC 500 will come with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty as well as a complimentary 5-year scheduled maintenance.
Lexus Malaysia assures that complete after sales support is available at seven authorised Lexus service centres with professional technicians who have been extensively trained by Lexus.
